Violet Rose? Too many flowers?

Not too much to say, I think the title says it all. Is [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rose[/name] too flowery? If you didnt know they were both flowers I think it flows great and sounds very pretty, but is the fact they are both flowers a no for many?

I think less flowery and more too colourful. I associate [name]Violet[/name] first with the colour and then the flower so I read the combo something like Purple [name]Pink[/name] rather than [name]Flower[/name] [name]Flower[/name]. Maybe something like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name] instead?

This. I thought Purple [name]Rose[/name]. :frowning:

I think it’s a bit much personally, but I second milliemm’s suggestion of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name].

Yes, it’s too much flower and color. I’d pick one or the other if I were you.

Hmm…
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Rose[/name] sounds gorgeous, however I do think that it’s a little too much. But not flowers, sometimes floral combinations work like for instance [name]Lily[/name] [name]Rose[/name] sounds pretty and works, but this one seems like too much colours and flowers. [name]Violet[/name] is automatically associated with colour as is [name]Rose[/name]. The name seems like a colour explosion! Hmm maybe something like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]? Or [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name]? Or maybe [name]Viola[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name]? That is a beautiful combination and takes away the too much nature/colour thing.
