Hello, I’m due in November and we’ve already decided on Violet for the first name. We want something a little different or edgy for a middle name and like Violet Winter, but I’m still unsure. I don’t want it to sound too weird or cheesy! Any opinions or suggestions for a different middle name?!

I think the combo sounds nice, but at a glance, I read it as “Violent Winter” 
But like I said, it sounds very nice! Definitely useable!

I think it’s lovely! [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is established enough as a name that the combo doesn’t come across as too wordy to me. It evokes such beautiful imagery and flows nicely. I like it!

Hmmm initially I like it but then I read comment and yes I can easily see Violent Winter. Maaaaaybe it’s be less visually obvious if you went with Violette Winter 
Hmm another thought is the fact that they are both words the more I look at the combo the more I’m realizing I associate Violets with spring so paired with Winter…. This name is sounding kind of like an oxymoron

I love both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u], and love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a first name, but not sure that they may a good combination together. Two word names can be tricky. I’d look at another middle.

I agree with @lehassebrock it sounds like Violent [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I like both names, just not together.

I’m not keen. It sounds like Violent [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. Although separately they are nice names. I’m just not sure the combo works together very well.

I will admit that, that two word names in a combination doesn’t bother me in the least. The only thing that could make it better in my opinion, is making it [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] gives me such amazing imagery of tiny purple flowers peeping through melting spring snow

I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is a little too wordy for me I would prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] as it’s not as wordy also I do see violent winter like others. Maybe a name meaning [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and things associated with that season could work.
