Violet

WDYT of the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f]? Is it too old-fashioned? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know anyone named [name_f]Violet[/name_f]?

I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is beautiful, popular, but beautiful.

I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! It’s on my top 5, but yes, it is getting quite popular. It’s well inside the top 100 by now. I don’t know any, although I heard a mom call her daughter in passing a couple days ago, and it was a little [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. First one I’ve come across. I hope I don’t know anyone that uses it, though, because I love it a lot!

I am starting to really love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I was familiar with it beforehand but I watched a TV show recently with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a character and love it now. However, I personally don’t know of any Violets. It’s definitely not old fashioned either!

I love the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and only knew one very old woman with the name. I don’t have kids yet although I think it’s supposed to be pretty popular for babies nowadays. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a pretty, yet strong and clever name to me. It makes me think of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Baudelaire from Lemony Snicket and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] from The Incredibles. I think it would suit many different personalities as well so I think it’s definitely a keeper! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

Me niece is [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and it’s amazing! It’s spunky but feminine. She gets called [name_f]Vi[/name_f] a lot by her mom, but daddy calls her [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I had never considered it before, but I was so happy when they announced her name. I am now a bit jealous because now I love it so much! Haha.

My brother has had a side-effect from naming his daughter [name_f]Violet[/name_f], though… He now gravitates towards the color purple when prompted to pick a color for something! Haha.

I personally don’t know any Violets. But I would love to:) I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Makes me think of both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Crawley (Granny) on Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_m]Parr[/name_m] from the Incredibles. But no bad associations. It’s a lovely name, and not old-fashioned at all. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is timeless.

Very pretty! I only know one.

My sister’s name is [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. She gets a lot of positive responses to it. We usually call her Vee, VV, or Vieve. She loves it herself and it’s suits her personality.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] doesn’t seem at all old school to me, and no one else has said either, rather they think it ‘new’ and ‘fresh.’

The name has a lot of balance: it’s spunky with tradition, both new and vintage, well known but rare… just a perfect balance. It would suit any personality. It is both cute and sweet and floral for a child, sophisticated, classy and drefined for a woman.

I think the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is darling. It seems very on trend right now, but it also has a great history. I personally love that its feminine but not frilly, and would be just as attractive on a young girl as a grown woman.

I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! It’s so pretty and vintage, yet doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. I know a little [name_f]Violet[/name_f]–they call her V for short.

I like the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. It pretty and old-fashioned. It doesn’t sound too desperate like some old names.

I don’t know anyone named [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Viola[/name_f], but [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is very nice. I have never met one though. It reminds me of the Hole song.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I don’t know anybody named [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Baudelaire and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] from the Incredibles. I think it is a charming name that could suit a lot of people. It doesn’t seem old fashioned to me, but it also doesn’t seem too new fashioned. It is a perfect middle. I am hoping to use it in the future

I think it’s a lovely name; popular for a reason. I haven’t met any Violets in my life but I look forward to the day!

Definitely not too old-fashioned - it’s definitely back in fashion and I think it’s here to stay for a while!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] too. I know of 3 little ones, so it’s probably a bit too popular in my circles for me to use as a first. If it weren’t, I’d definitely consider it. As it is, I’d love to use it as a middle name. It’s spunky, bold and fiercely feminine to me.
