I am considering [name]Virginia[/name] as a middle name for [name]Clara[/name] to honor mine and dh’s grandmothers. While I think it’s a pretty name, do you think she will have problems with her middle name and not want people to know what it is? I’m thinking about those immature years when you might not want “virgin” in your name. I remember when I was growing up that some of my friends would try to not let anyone find out their middle name because of silly things like this. What do you think of [name]Clara[/name] [name]Virginia[/name]?
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Virginia[/name]! There may be some teasing potential as a first, but I don’t think that she’d be made fun of for her middle name. Besides, people don’t even mention middle names most of the time (well, except us nameberries). People may also think of [name]Virginia[/name] the state, and not “virgin”. Either way, “virgin” isn’t the worst association, and not even a bad one…
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Virginia[/name] is lovely!
I knew a [name]Virginia[/name] from middle school on. As far as I can remember there was no teasing over her name.
