Virtue Name for Boys?

So my kiddos have virtue names and need a new one for baby #4. Can anyone weigh in on some choices.

Names we like:
[name_m]Royal[/name_m]
Brave/[name_m]Bravery[/name_m]
[name_m]Noble[/name_m]
Courage

Which do you like best with [name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_u]Hero[/name_u] and [name_m]Valor[/name_m]?

[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I misread haha

I think [name_m]Noble[/name_m] would be great with the other 3, and personally I love the name

[name_m]Knight[/name_m] is my first born!

Courage and [name_m]Bravery[/name_m] go best with your sibset.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite from your list is [name_m]Noble[/name_m]!

Some more virtue names for boys that I like:

[name_m]Prosper[/name_m]/[name_m]Prosperity[/name_m]
Reliance
[name_m]Fortitude[/name_m]
[name_f]Blithe[/name_f]

Given the son named [name_m]Valor[/name_m], I don’t think you should use a synonym like Brave or Courage. [name_m]Royal[/name_m] just means well-born (hardly a virtue) but [name_m]Noble[/name_m] implies both birth as well as character-- I think it’s by far the best on your list.

You might also like [name_u]True[/name_u], Merit, [name_u]Justice[/name_u], [name_m]Loyal[/name_m], or [name_m]Worth[/name_m].

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the reason for repeated extreme prematurity?

I think [name_m]Noble[/name_m] goes best as well with their names too. We’d probably name him [name_m]Noble[/name_m] [name_m]Joachim[/name_m].

They have never found a reason why I went into labor for both pregnancies. I suck at being pregnant though! Bed rest both times starting at 12 weeks. The best thing is getting to see the baby more often because of monitoring. But people think we are crazy going for #4 and we are but crossing fingers. We have our hands full with our special 3 now.

so weird - last night I dreamed all night long that we were naming our unborn son [name_m]Valor[/name_m]!
I like [name_m]Noble[/name_m] with your other names.

I really like virtue names like [name_m]Bravery[/name_m], Courage, [name_u]Haven[/name_u] (current obsession), [name_m]Prosper[/name_m]…

…but since you already have…

[name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_u]Hero[/name_u] and [name_m]Valor[/name_m] at home I think Nobel is the best with you subset. (I adore [name_m]Valor[/name_m] btw - awesome choice.)

Thanks everybody. I think we will go with [name_m]Noble[/name_m]! Can’t wait.

[name_m]Roi[/name_m], [name_m]Royall[/name_m], [name_m]Rui[/name_m] are related to a virtue names for [name_m]Royal[/name_m].
But I especially love [name_u]Justice[/name_u]. I don’t know if these are virtues but maybe more word names.

[name_m]Pius[/name_m]
[name_u]Freedom[/name_u]
Wise/[name_f]Wisdom[/name_f]
[name_f]Honor[/name_f]
Pride

Ok, I’m going to be the first to admit I don’t believe this story.

@renrose - I was thinking that too when I saw the names. Everything seems a bit too ‘out-there’ and dramatic to be real…

I’m with both of you girls. It’s pretty unusual to have three babies extremely premature for absolutely no reason. Surely your doctor would have advised very strongly against trying for another baby. Why were you on bed rest at twelve weeks? Doctors don’t just prescribe bed rest for no reason and, for the first one, you would have had no idea your baby was going to be so premature, so why the best rest?

Also, how old are your first three? Did they have any medical complications following their births?

Interesting. [name_f]Silence[/name_f].

dun dun duuuuuuuun.

These are some heavy duty virtue names!

I like [name_m]Royal[/name_m] fine.

It and Brave and and Courage lack parallel structure with your current names. [name_m]Knight[/name_m], [name_u]Hero[/name_u], and [name_m]Valor[/name_m] are nouns whereas Brave and [name_m]Noble[/name_m] and Courage are adjectives.

Not that I would recommend naming a child [name_m]Bravery[/name_m], Nobility, or Courageousness.

I think I incline toward more subtle virtue names like [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] and [name_u]Haven[/name_u]. I like the idea of rearing a son who can be a harbor or haven to others. I love [name_m]Clement[/name_m] too.

So while I can’t say that I like your names, I do know two boys at my school named, I believe, Reality and Life and they seem to be doing just fine, so it’s really in the parents’ court.

[name_m]Noble[/name_m] is just right!

I assure I am not a fake. It isn’t uncommon to have twins prematurely nor is it to have severe sickness throughout your pregnancy. I have no reason to try to stir up the boards at all. Thanks to all who helped.

Not sure if this would count as a “virtue” name, but I love the name [name_u]Early[/name_u] for a boy. Other names are [name_m]Kingston[/name_m], [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], [name_m]Ernest[/name_m], [name_u]Justice[/name_u] / [name_m]Justus[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], and [name_m]Noble[/name_m].
