Virtue Names!

I was wondering about virtue names lately. I always thought of them as being the actual name of the virtue - [name]Faith[/name], [name]Hope[/name], [name]Grace[/name] etc - but I just looked up nameberry’s virtue names and it seems to be everything that has a virtue for a meaning (which is a whole lot of names).

So which would you consider correct?

It was the name [name]Felicity[/name] that got me wondering, which is often classed as a virtue name and means happy. Since [name]Feliz[/name] means happy in Spanish and felicidad is happiness, it makes sense that [name]Felicity[/name] (and [name]Felix[/name]) means happy. So that one pretty much makes sense in my head.

Anyway, I like virtue names and was wondering if you could list some for me - from the widely known to the more unusual.
Thank you.

Personally, I consider virtue names to be the actual virtues, rather than names with virtue meanings.

I started up a thread on virtue names a while ago, I got some really great responses! here’s the link: Nameberry - Welcome to the Nameberry Forums

[name]Jolie[/name] and [name]Love[/name] are virtue names to, to me they’re very nice…

[name]Allegra[/name] means happy or joyous in Italian and is one of my favorites. Some other more obscure ones that I love:
