Hello, friends!
Since the lovely @snowmaiden began mentioning [name_f]Vision[/name_f] (and [name_f]Favor[/name_f] and [name_f]Meritt[/name_f] at times), sheās been running around in the back of my mind. And after going through my lists, these three girls have jumped to the forefront, and I canāt stop thinking about them! Both in complete adoration (and the childish hope that I might use them, despite knowing I probably will never) and questioning.
Right now, I am sure of the combos:
[name_f]Vision[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Favor[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f], and [name_f]Meritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
They combine my love of the timeless classics and my new adoration of gender-neutral virtue names (are these even technically considered virtue namesā¦Iām not sure)! Even though I was very adamant about creating two middle combos, I really appreciate the simplicity and spunk of these three girls. All of them are relatively uncommon words (although I think that could be disagreed upon; I donāt personally hear them often in real life) that sound like names while still being clearly unique and having a vibe of childrenās literature and the wonder their eyes hold.
While I am completely and utterly obsessed by my Vis, Fizzy, and Merry, I do have several questions regarding them.
On the usability: of course I know these names are funky and would get raised eyes, but I have more specific worries. If miss [name_f]Vision[/name_f] [name_]Kate[/name_f] needed glasses, would she be destined to get teased with ā[name_f]Vision[/name_f] with bad visionā? Would [name_f]Favor[/name_f] be constantly looked at as the favorite child, asked if her mama and dada favored her over her sisters? Do you think these comments could be easily annoyed or brushed off, or would they lead to insecurity about the girls and their names?
On the style: I absolutely love these three paired together; I think they match perfectly and have a lovely lilt when said aloud: ā[name_f]Vision[/name_f], [name_f]Favor[/name_f], and [name_f]Meritt[/name_f].ā I do worry that I cannot find more names for future siblings (particularly girls, as I wouldnāt be opposed to changing the style slightly if I had a son, say, [name_m]Alcott[/name_m] or even [name_m]Bravery[/name_m]). What are some unique virtue names youād suggest as siblings to [name_f]Vision[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Favor[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f], and [name_f]Meritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]? Ones that are undeniably words but donāt sound too odd as names.
On the imagery: these girls to me are undeniably playful and family-oriented, cheeky smiles, paint covered hands, brightly colored mismatched clothes, playing in muddy puddles while wearing yellow rain boots that are too big, chasing after kites in the sky, purple plastic purses that play music and carry shiny coins and glittery glasses, sunny dresses and cheesy grins, comfy jumpers and outfits with seven pockets, hand-me-down crocheted sweaters and baby bonnets, corduroy bears missing a button on their shoulder strap, and baby blankets that they drag around everywhere they go, oftentimes forgetting them in the car or store when they get too excited to go to the playground or to eat sugary snacks. Although this imagery is exactly what I desired from the trio of girls, I want to know what vibes you get from [name_f]Vision[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Favor[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f], and [name_f]Meritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. How do you feel about these combos, and if you have any reasoning at all, Iād love to hear it!
Thanks, everyone!
