Thoughts on the name [name]Viv[/name] - just [name]Viv[/name], not [name]Vivienne[/name], [name]Viva[/name] or anything else?
If there is [name]Kit[/name], [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Liv[/name], why not [name]Viv[/name]…? Short, strong, cute and chic?
I’m a believer in long formal names with short nicknames, so I do not like [name]Viv[/name] as a stand alone name. I love it as a nickname, though! For [name]Vivienne[/name] or [name]Genevieve[/name] or [name]Viva[/name]…
Sorry, but I can’t see it as a name on it’s own. She’d always have to correct people. I know Kates and Livs and Jessies and Beths who wish they had the option of a full-name.
It’s too truncated, barely a syllable. I know there are one-syllable names out there but [name]Viv[/name] on its own seems really insubstantial. As a nickname though, it’s fab.
I have to agree with everyone, I love [name]Viv[/name] as a nn but I’d like to have a full name to fall back on.
I don’t like it, but then I don’t like [name]Vivianne[/name] or any of it’s variations either.
I love [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Livy[/name] though! So again, that might be the issue, I love similar names so much more.
Also it reminds me of vivisection
