They’re all nice but I adore [name]Louisa[/name]! It’s beautiful, classic, feminine but not at all boring and literary of course thanks to [name]Louisa[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Alcott[/name]. There are cute nn’s [name]Lou[/name], [name]Lulu[/name] & [name]Lula[/name] but the name also ages really well. I just can’t speak highly enough of it.
[name]Celeste[/name] is my second favourite, chic, sophisticated, pretty - just lovely, but without the spark that [name]Louisa[/name] has in my opinion.
[name]Vivian[/name] is my least favourite probably because I know lots of middle aged [name]Vivian[/name]'s so I find it a little dated and also quite harsh. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either.

- [name]Louisa[/name] - not used enough, great sound, great nicknames, ages well, really can’t say enough in praise of it.
- [name]Vivian[/name] - I really like this name! It is skyrocketing in popularity if that matters to you. It is also especially skyrocketing with the [name]Vivienne[/name] spelling (as you’ve seen in this forum), so one drawback is people might default to that spelling ([name]Vivian[/name] is still very standard though so it’s more of a [name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] situation, not a [name]Katherine[/name]/Khatharrin situation).
- [name]Celeste[/name] - I love the meaning of the name but somehow find the “lest” syllable unattractive.

I do worry that [name]Vivian[/name] is getting or will get too popular for our tastes. That’s why [name]Louisa[/name] is appealing to us.

Oooo I love all of these! So hard to choose. I’m going to say [name]Louisa[/name]. I just love it. It’s so classy and sweet without being frilly or quirky. And I love that it has the nicknames [name]Lou[/name] or Lo. Second favorite is [name]Celeste[/name] and third, [name]Vivian[/name]. I would probably love [name]Vivian[/name] even more but I’ve known a not-so chaste [name]Vivian[/name] so she’s interfering with my love for the name. Btw, I’m glad you’ve selected that spelling.
