I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is a beautiful combination, and it honors [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I voted [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but I also like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
VJ doesn’t bother you? As in, va-jay-vay? That’s my biggest concern with that combo even though I love both names individually!
I voted for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], and the VJ thing doesn’t bother me - unless your surname begins with a J too, it won’t be noticeable when they’re all written out together. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is also a lovely, classic combination.
I think you should go with the honor name that is the most meaningful to you or your husband rather than pick for sound. Since you said your husband was close to his maternal grandmother, I chose that one. It’s also nice that you can both honor great/grandmothers. If you worry about initials but want to use [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] you could do two middles like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or a variant or nickname of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] like: [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Lilibeth[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
Vivian Elise can work for honoring an Elizabeth as well.
I would save [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] in case you have another daughter and go with an honor name for the middle. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Jacquelin[/name_f] all sound lovely although I do slightly prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. Although that does give you VEG as initials, I don’t know if that would bother you but it wouldn’t bother me, might lead to some cute pet names.
I voted for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], I think it’s lovely, and my second choice would be [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], because of the personal meaning.
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] got my vote. To avoid VJ, what about [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] instead?
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. The others are too plain for my taste.
I voted for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
What about [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Beth[/name_f]? Still honors but soft and spunky at the same time.
I certainly see the concern with VJ! Like the names a great deal but, not together and from what you have explained… Having said that, I vote for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. I love the classic [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], however that is such a long name for a child. Since you are open for suggestions on MN - [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Elle[/name_f]? Classic and different but gorgeous unless you want a strong E sound like [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] stands on its own and still can represent [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]…
