Hello! Which name do you like more and why?
How would you picture a girl named [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/ [name_f]Esther[/name_f]?
Vivian! It feels prettier and sounds softer and nicer!
I prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f]; it’s sweet and understated!
I like both a lot, but [name_f]Esther[/name_f] gets my vote here. It’s quietly strong and sophisticated, and I love the simple sound and softer look.
Vivian would be more outgoing than [name_f]Esther[/name_f], I think. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] feels more studious, dignified, reserved. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] feels livelier, more… vivacious, I guess
I much prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]! It’s light and fresh!
I prefer the warmth of [name_f]Esther[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f]! [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is quite masculine to me, although I know most people don’t feel that way. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is very dignified, full of grace, bold, courageous, mysterious, and sultry (when older ofc) in my mind. Such a stunning name!
Oh, [name_f]Esther[/name_f] for sure! [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is so soft and sweet and steady. I do like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], but I much prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f].
I know 2 girls named [name_u]Vivian[/name_u].
Both are blonde, are very athletic (one plays tennis; the other volleyball), both keep decent grades in school. Both are also the oldest child.
I have yet to meet an [name_f]Esther[/name_f] though.
I like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] but prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. It’s so soft and elegant.
I prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. I love its classic, timeless charm. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is more straightforward in character, and more modern.
Love [name_f]Esther[/name_f]!
I think I prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f].
Vivian is my preferred spelling of that name but [name_f]Esther[/name_f] just seems more timeless and calm than spunky, trendy [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/Vivienne, which is more my personal thing.
I like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] fine.
Because I love the nns [name_f]Viv[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivie[/name_f] and because I can’t think of a nn for [name_f]Esther[/name_f], I would prefer to be named [name_u]Vivian[/name_u].
I see [name_u]Vivien[/name_u] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]! And [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m], the synchronized swimmer of yore!
Both attractive associations.
Actually I prefer [name_f]Viveca[/name_f], [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], [name_f]Virginie[/name_f], [name_f]Viola[/name_f], [name_f]Vionnet[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Villette[/name_f] to Viven and I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Hester[/name_f] to [name_f]Esther[/name_f], but both names are fine.
My favourite is [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] she’s just elegant, has a glamorous vibe & I like the nickname [name_f]Vivi[/name_f].
We were deciding between [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. We chose [name_f]Esther[/name_f] for our daughter - [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. She is sweet and gentle, but also quite spunky and lively!
I prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]! I feel like she would be more strong-willed and outgoing, and the name itself is striking while still being very sweet.
Also, I’ve always found [name_f]Esther[/name_f] a little too old-fashioned.
I prefer [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. Personally, I’ve never been too fond of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] also has the cutest nickname of [name_f]Essie[/name_f]. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Esther[/name_f]!
