Vivian or Violet?

Would you name our next daughter [name]Vivian[/name] or [name]Violet[/name]?

She would join [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Miles[/name].

I’d go with [name]Violet[/name], especially with your sib set.

[name]Vivian[/name] for me. Not keen on the two flower names together.

I prefer the way [name]Vivian[/name] sounds with your other children. And what a lovely meaning!

I agree!

Although I adore the name [name]Violet[/name], I agree that Vivan sounds best with the other 3 names! Vivan is a beautiful name.

[name]Vivian[/name]! Although I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Violet[/name] (my own daughter’s name!), I think having two flower names in a sibset would throw the flow of the whole off (as someone above me said). [name]Vivian[/name] is so classy and underused and goes so well with the other (beautiful) names you have!

[name]Violet[/name] for sure!
[name]Love[/name] the names of your other kids

[name]Vivian[/name]. [name]Vivi[/name] is a really cute nickname. I still think of the grandma on Downton [name]Abbey[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Beauregard[/name] even with all the little Violets running around these days.

[name]Violet[/name]. Suits the sib set better

I vote for [name]Vivian[/name], because “[name]Iris[/name], [name]Miles[/name] & [name]Violet[/name]” all have that long “i” sound - a little too much rhyming for me personally, but I’m picky like that!

i’d go with [name]Vivian[/name] too. Or spelled [name]Vivienne[/name]. i like the spelling vivienne better.
I like [name]Violet[/name], but with an [name]Iris[/name], i am not a fan of the two flower names together. but maybe that is what you like about it?
I like the nicknames [name]Vivi[/name] or [name]Viv[/name].

[name]Vivian[/name]. Fits better in my opinion.

Like the others I’m going to say [name]Vivian[/name] just because I’m not a fan of two flower names within the same family. [name]Both[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] are lovely names

I like [name]Vivian[/name]! I agree that [name]Violet[/name] is great but it might clash too much with [name]Iris[/name].
I know a little girl named [name]Vivian[/name] and everyone calls her [name]Vivie[/name], it’s cute

I really love both names, but I think [name]Vivian[/name] sounds best with your other kids’ name. You can’t go wrong either way though.

I thought the opposite…

… and that’s why

Though I personally prefer the spelling [name]Vivienne[/name]. The two spellings evoke different imagery for me: [name]Vivian[/name] is glamorous, old Hollywood and perhaps a bit va-va-voom, where [name]Vivienne[/name] is sweet, spunky and modern. [name]Both[/name] have their appeal, it’s just personal preference!

I prefer the name Violet. I like the two flower names together. The sibset would be long-I heavy, but it could put up with that.

I prefer [name]Violet[/name] in general, but especially with [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Miles[/name], I think [name]Violet[/name] is a wonderful fit!

I love them both but prefer [name]Violet[/name] a bit more. And I think it’s actually cute to have two flower names for both sisters. You can’t go wrong either way!
