In order, I’d rank them as:
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] - one of my longtime favorite boy names. It’s short and sweet, masculine but soft, and looks lovely written down. I just love it.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] - Another one of my favorite boy names. It’s getting a little bit popular, but it’s such a timeless classic that I really don’t think it matters that much!
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - I love the meaning of this name, to me it’s what really makes it!
[name_u]James[/name_u] - this name is on the popular side, but for good reason! Very strong and handsome, and has so many excellent nickname options! (my favorites are [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] and [name_u]Jem[/name_u])
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] - A classic name, solid and not used much where I live. I think it’s a lovely choice.
[name_u]Max[/name_u] - a bit abrupt, but still very handsome and charming.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] - not a wild fan of this name because it does seem to be a bit on the trendy side in my opinion, but I can see it’s appeal.

[name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u] are nearly tied for me—I voted for [name_u]Jude[/name_u], but I love both. Today I’m feeling [name_u]Jude[/name_u] because it’s slightly less common.

Here’s my order & thoughts:
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m]-This is my favorite. It’s so charming & friendly, but also sounds down to [name_f]Earth[/name_f] & intelligent. Than there’s the sweet sporty nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. It’s pretty popular, but such an old fashioned classic too.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]-I love the gentle sound of this. It’s simple but not over done. It’s kind of artsy too, & a little bit cowboy-ish as well. I love it as a nn for [name_m]Julian[/name_m], but it’s good on its own too.
[name_u]Max[/name_u]-This is fairly common, but it’s adorable. Really cool & smart on a grown man too.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]-This is a handsome classic. Very smart, kind & friendly sounding. I especially love the sporty nn of [name_m]Hank[/name_m]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is so so popular though.
[name_u]James[/name_u]-Another nice classic. It doesn’t sparkle, but it’s quite nice. I love the nn [name_u]Jem[/name_u]. I don’t care much for [name_m]Jim[/name_m]/[name_m]Jimmy[/name_m] or [name_u]Jamie[/name_u].
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]-This is cool. Not super fancy, but a good name.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]-This is fine. I don’t love it, but it’s a good name too. l kind of like the nns [name_m]Ike[/name_m] & [name_m]Zac[/name_m].
