This is the tough because I them love all but I think I’m going to have to go with [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Noor[/name_f]!!

Thanks for your response!

Ohhh tough call! I’d say either [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] or [name_f]Noor[/name_f]. I just can’t warm to [name_m]Pascal[/name_m].

All three – [name_f]Noor[/name_f], [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] & [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] – are lovely names, however, in the combo, I greatly prefer, and really like, [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Noor[/name_f]. The combo flows well, looks nice and the style of all three names fit together. Whenever I see [name_f]Noor[/name_f], I think of a woman who is (among other things) intelligent, kind-to-all, bold, creative, confident, sweet & somehow a good mix of both old-school and contemporary.

I actually quite like the idea (and look) of the hyphenated middle. Out of interest, may I ask why you chose to hyphenate the two middles? I often see a hyphenated first name, but rarely a hyphenated middle, and I wonder what inspired that for you.

I voted for [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Anouk[/name_f]. [name_f]Olympe[/name_f] is a cool name! Turns out I have been pronouncing it kind of wrong in my head, haha. This is a tough one to come up with suggestions for, but I gave it a shot (a fun challenge!)…

[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-Maëlle
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Ffion[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Celie[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Alba[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Nadine[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Helene[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-Alira

Tha is for your question! Primarily I chose the hyphen because [name_f]Olympe[/name_f] is very very [name_m]French[/name_m], and it is more typical for double barreled names to be hyphenated in [name_m]French[/name_m]. It’s not a must, but stylistically feels appropriate. We did the same thing when we were considering using [name_u]Claude[/name_u] as an honor middle for a boy, with the compound [name_u]Claude[/name_u]-[name_m]Yves[/name_m].

I had originally wanted to find another [name_m]French[/name_m] name to go with [name_f]Olympe[/name_f], but ultimately 2 out of 3 that I really like from the other thread were Dutch.

[name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-Maëlle, [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Alba[/name_f], [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_f]Helene[/name_f] are all gorgeous! They don’t solve my name ending in a silent -e problem vs. name ending in a long -e problem but I love them anyway!

I really like [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]-[name_m]Pascal[/name_m]! But I prefer the [name_u]Pascale[/name_u] spelling as that is the usual feminine spelling.

Thank you for your reply! I actually like the look of [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] more and don’t mind that it’s typically the masculine spelling being I have it paired with the very feminine [name_f]Olympe[/name_f]. And I know it’s a silly thing to be particular about but I want the middle to not end in -e.
