I voted for [name]Libby[/name]. I like [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Livy[/name] (though I like [name]Liv[/name] more), but I adore [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Libby[/name] is just one reason why. There are so many great nicknames with [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Pair that with the name’s history and you have a winner. I know it’s in the top ten consistently, but I would say that’s due to staying power rather than any recent trend.

I vote for [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a timeless classic. [name]Olivia[/name] is also a name with history, but much more subject to trends. [name]Libby[/name] is also an uncommon nn for Elizabeths nowdays.
I like both names, but I think I prefer [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn [name]Libby[/name] more. [name]Olivia[/name] nn [name]Livy[/name] is adorable though!
I agree!
It’s just me who makes the [name]Livy[/name] = dead [name]Roman[/name] historian connection, because I’m really into [name]Roman[/name] history and I spend a lot of time on a [name]Roman[/name] history discussion board. Pay no attention. I’m sure it’s a pretty nickname.
Maybe I just need to visualize it as “Livi.”

Yes, I think of the dead [name]Roman[/name] historian, too. But that’s not such a bad connotation. I think I would spell it [name]Livvy[/name].
