Personally, I think I would have a hard time using [name]Archibald[/name]…for the exact reasons you stated, but I did vote for it because I love the nickname [name]Archie[/name]! And if given the choice between [name]Archer[/name] and [name]Archibald[/name], I think I would lean toward [name]Archibald[/name] anyway as [name]Archer[/name] seems to be on more and more namelists everywhere I turn. It’s getting trendy, and I don’t know about you, but that’s one of my biggest fears in picking a name. Funny, just after having typed the name three times it’s growing on me. [name]Archibald[/name]. It has potential. Good luck!

Thank you! I haven’t been able to find too many people who are wild about [name]Archibald[/name] so far, but then again when I named my daughter [name]Monet[/name] no one liked it but now I’m glad I didn’t listen to popular opinion and went with it anyway!

I really like [name]Arthur[/name] with [name]Monet[/name]. [name]Artie[/name] is an adorable nn also, and [name]Arthur[/name] is def. sophisticated enough to be a judge one day. My other vote went to [name]George[/name]. It doesnt have the upper crust elegance of [name]Arthur[/name] but there is something about a baby named [name]George[/name] that makes me smile.

I nearly voted for [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] because I think it flows best.
However then it made me think of [name]Archer[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] Midlands Corp.: http://www.adm.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx

I don’t know if that affects you at all.

When I see the name [name]Arthur[/name], I think of the nn [name]Art[/name]…not sure if you want that with a daughter named [name]Monet[/name]. [name]Monet[/name] and [name]Art[/name]…sounds like you are artists, not lawyers! (My husband, an artist, put [name]Arthur[/name] on his top ten boys list for the lone reason of calling him [name]Art[/name].)

I love [name]Archibald[/name], but I am not sure how I feel about the d at the end running into the D of [name]Daniel[/name]. Same with [name]Bernard[/name].

[name]George[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] makes me think of [name]George[/name] [name]Michael[/name]. I know that’s weird, they aren’t really similar!

I think my #1 choice for you is [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Archibald[/name]. I know a lot of berries think that if you’re going to call a baby by a middle name, then you should just use that as the first name though…

The name of that company is one of the huge reasons DH hates [name]Archer[/name] as a name! We hate that company, and he’s worried people will think of that when they think of our child if [name]Archer[/name] is in the name with [name]Daniel[/name] at all . . . I can also see how [name]Arthur[/name] brings it to mind too!
