I can see how finding the right middle name with [name]Zephyr[/name] is challenging. I like the name [name]Zephyr[/name], but for some reason all these middles just don’t seem to fit right with it. I voted for [name]Louis[/name], because I like that one more than the others, but it still doesn’t seem to fit quite right. [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Jack[/name] sounds a bit like it should be a dirty word or something to my ear.
Another weird thing, in most cases I don’t prefer 2-2 syllable count in first to middle names, but in this circumstance I think a 2-2 syllable actual works better, though I can’t quite define why. Here’s a few others that seem to work pretty well with [name]Zephyr[/name].

I like [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Louis[/name] the most from your poll. Are you pronouncing it like “loo-ee” or lewis? I think “loo-ee” is my fave. I like the way the two names look together. [name]Zephyr[/name] has a “p” and “y” so breaks the linear quality and [name]Louis[/name] is a straight line. I think more “linear” names are better with [name]Zephyr[/name]. Personally, I wouldn’t use another name with a “y” in it ([name]Clyde[/name]).[name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Clive[/name] would look better. Does that make sense?

Since I read your previous post, I can’t get [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Finnegan[/name] out of my head. None of the other options seem as good. I think if you’re going to go with something as quirky as [name]Zephyr[/name], you shouldn’t pair it with a traditional name like [name]Benjamin[/name]. But that’s just me…
I actually love them all! I like [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Jack[/name] the best, with [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] as my second choice. I love [name]Finnegan[/name], but it almost seems too much with [name]Zephyr[/name]. And while I love [name]Louis[/name] (especially with the French pronunciation!), and I think it pairs really well with [name]Zephyr[/name], I just don’t love it quite so much as [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name].
I also like the idea of [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]. I just think with something as quirky and cool as [name]Zephyr[/name], you need something more on the normal side. [name]Just[/name] in case the poor kid can’t handle being that cool.

[name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Samual[/name] is pretty awesome… Thanks I know what you mean about [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Finnegan[/name]… It’s my favourite in a way but [name]Finnegan[/name] definately does nothing to tone [name]Zephyr[/name] down… I can’t decide if its a bit TOO cool and out there! But then as Wolv pointed out… If you going to go Quirky why not just go all out [name]Finnegan[/name] is also a meaningful family name as is [name]Benjamin[/name]…

I picked [name]Benjamin[/name]. I like the 2-3 syllable combo, as well as pairing the soft, unisex [name]Zephyr[/name] with a stronger, all boy name like [name]Benjamin[/name].

I like them all except [name]Benjamin[/name]. [name]Finnegan[/name] and [name]Louis[/name] make for a more mature combo. I’ll vote for [name]Finnegan[/name].
