Introducing our sweet Florence Matilda, known affectionately as Posey by our family
Florence means “flourishing and prosperous” and Matilda means “battle-mighty”.
Matilda was chosen in part to continue our literary theme, and in part for my husband’s love of sport.
Florence was chosen in part for the meaning, and what we hope and pray for her life to be, and also for my love of art and art history.
Florence joins her big brothers Walter and Edmund (known as Teddy), and she has completed our family!
Thankyou everyone for your help a few months ago with her name; in the end she was meant to be Florence!
