Wanda

Any thoughts on the name [name_f]Wanda[/name_f]?

I actually like it, only sometimes it seems a little clunky and dated to me.

I think it’s dated and unattractive I prefer [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]

I think of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Wanda[/name_f], characters in a cartoon, it’s a beautiful name but I just think very fairy vibes from it which isn’t a bad thing and makes the name more of a nice choice, however I don’t like the sound and think it’s a bit of an old name :flushed:

My first association is [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Witch and then [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. I think it’s a cute name, though I think it needs the right person. Still I would love to meet a [name_f]Wanda[/name_f].

It makes me think of [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Witch so I really like it! I think it would take the right person but it’s totally usable. I don’t think it’s any more dated than [name_f]Wendy[/name_f].

I want to love [name_f]Wanda[/name_f], but I can’t. But I’d like there to be more Wandas out there, if that makes sense.

The name that reminds me of [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] that I do like is [name_f]Sheila[/name_f].

Wanda is like [name_f]Jane[/name_f]’s sassier cousin :sunglasses:

One of my favorite books “The Hundred Dresses” starred [name_f]Wanda[/name_f]. It’s a dated, but twinkly, kind name :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Wanda[/name_f]. It makes me think of [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] from The Fairly Oddparents

I find it a bit clunky and awkward but it’s okay

It’s definitely growing on me because of [name_u]Marvel[/name_u] and [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Witch. I wonder if the new Wandavision series will up it’s popularity?

I previously would have said absolutely not, but then I met a little girl called [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] and I just loved it. [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] feels similar to me.

Wanda is actually really cute! I don’t think its given enough appreciation.

Makes me think of [name_f]Wendy[/name_f], [name_f]Winona[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] which have all been trending at one time or another.

I don’t love [name_f]Wanda[/name_f], but I don’t dislike it either. I think it’s an interesting, retro-sounding name, and I like the witchy vibe. I think it suffers from the fact that names ending in -nda are rather unfashionable now, but it could make a comeback at some point.

Not my style, but I don’t necessarily dislike it. The vibes it gives me are cowboy boots, [name_u]Jean[/name_u] vests & mullet hair. So to me it’s got a little bit of country quirkiness to it. It also reminds me of cosmo and [name_f]Wanda[/name_f].

It’s not my cup of tea (and it’s a little dated), but I think it’s a cool name and would love to meet a young one!

Wanda has a spunky feel to me.

Vonda is another alternative.

I like it! It’s strong, distinct, fun and cool. [name_f]My[/name_f] associations are [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Witch and [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] Sykes, who’s hilarious, beautiful and very talented. [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] Maximoff is a powerful and brave character. I also associate [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Olsen[/name_m]. The name suits her so well too! From my point of view, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] makes the name look fresher.
[name_f]Wanda[/name_f] is an unexpected but wonderful choice!
