Want to honor, but not in love?

What are some honor names for the name [name_f]Marie[/name_f]? We would use it in the middle spot, so should I just go for it, or try a variation? Or maybe something that kind of sounds like [name_f]Marie[/name_f]?

[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
Maron
[name_f]Maris[/name_f]

And what about [name_f]Eileen[/name_f]? I wouldn’t use that, but maybe a variation or something?

[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]

What are your thoughts?

[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
These all sound beautiful to me.
They could each work with [name_f]Maris[/name_f] and Maron as well, but [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is a bit too sing-songy paired with these for my taste.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f] is probably my favourite.

For [name_f]Marie[/name_f] you could also try [name_f]Martha[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Maya[/name_f], [name_f]Marin[/name_f], Maelyse

Thanks for the suggestions. [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] does seem quite silly! I like [name_f]Helena[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] quite a bit.

You could use [name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_f]Marielle[/name_f], or even [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] as a combination honoring name for both [name_f]Marie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eileen[/name_f].

[name_f]Marie[/name_f]: [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Marin[/name_f], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Moira[/name_f]

[name_f]Eileen[/name_f]: [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Elaine[/name_f], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]

[name_f]Eileen[/name_f] means shining/light, so you could use a name with a similar meaning:
[name_f]Anora[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f]

[name_m]Just[/name_m] add a few more [name_f]Marie[/name_f] names:

[name_f]Marita[/name_f]
[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u]
[name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Mari[/name_f]

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Neila[/name_f] [name_f]Maire[/name_f] ?

Hmm, not too fond of [name_f]Neila[/name_f]. Not really sure of any of the [name_f]Eileen[/name_f] variations. I think I might end up ruling it out. I think using one part of the name is sufficient. And [name_f]Marie[/name_f] and the variations are growing on me.
