Ok so i like one names and my DH likes two names …her middle name will more than likely be [name]Lulu[/name]
The name i love is [name]Olive[/name] and the names he likes are [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Lacey[/name]
I already have two boys [name]Dexter[/name] and Leehi
I dont dislike the names he has chosen the only thing that puts me off is we know a little [name]Lacey[/name] and I feel [name]Lucy[/name] is very common.
I love both [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Polly[/name]! And [name]Lucy[/name] is great too, maybe as a nickname for [name]Lucille[/name]? Another thing to consider is you already have one “L” name, do you want another? I think [name]Dexter[/name], Leehi & [name]Olive[/name] is a fantastic sibset!
Thats what i think hehe i love [name]Olive[/name] <3
But its his first baby and he likes lucy and lacey i guess i just wanted to make sure before i push for what i want lol (is that wrong?)
Should i let him choose coz its his first?
I like [name]Lucy[/name], but [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Lulu[/name], or [name]Lucille[/name] [name]Lulu[/name] just doesn’t work, unless you want the nn to be [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Lu[/name]. [name]Lacy[/name] is the same. [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Lulu[/name]. Personally, I don’t like how either of them sounds.
[name]Polly[/name], on the other hand, is very pretty, and sounds cute. [name]Polly[/name] [name]Lulu[/name].
If you’ve got another middle name in mind, then my favorites would be [name]Lucy[/name], then [name]Polly[/name].
I like [name]Olive[/name] best from your list (even though I don’t really like it) and I think it goes nicely with the boys names. However, [name]Olive[/name] [name]Lulu[/name] is very weird to say to me. I don’t like the way it sounds. [name]How[/name] about a compromise for him? [name]Olive[/name] [name]Lacey[/name] is very pretty, as is [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Olive[/name], or Lucy Olive/Olive Lucy, and then you could call her [name]Lulu[/name] as a nickname (which is adorable). [name]Olive[/name] could still be nicknamed [name]Lulu[/name] because of that L sound in the beginning. I think that would be the best option.
I’m not sure how common [name]Lucy[/name] is. I don’t know any out here. It may be regional though. I like [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name], but none of the names sound quite right with [name]Lulu[/name]. Maybe [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Olive[/name] or [name]Olive[/name] [name]Lucinda[/name] or [name]Lucile[/name] or [name]Lucia[/name] would work.
I really, really, really despise the name [name]Olive[/name]. Sorry, I am one of the only berries that do. However, I absolutely love [name]Lucy[/name]. It is one of my favs. I also really like [name]Lulu[/name]. They don’t work together, but I like them separately.
[name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Lulu[/name]? Doesn’t work, but in my opinion neither does [name]Olive[/name]. I don’t like that name. My favorite first name for you would be [name]Lucy[/name], and I don’t know any so I’m not sure it’s popularity.
I think I would consider a name like [name]Lucinda[/name] and call her either [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Lulu[/name] for short. I have a hard time getting my mouth around [name]Olive[/name] [name]Lulu[/name], sorry. Too many Ls when I say it out loud. [name]Even[/name] [name]Lucinda[/name] [name]Olive[/name] is a bit gluggy and at least there’s more name there to break the l’s up.
Honestly, I think all those names sound like they come out of a 1930s comic strip. I like [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Olive[/name] as first names but not with [name]Lulu[/name], and [name]Lacey[/name] just doesn’t hold much appeal. I don’t mind [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Olive[/name] nearly as much and [name]Lulu[/name] could be a cute nickname. [name]Olive[/name] [name]Lucienne[/name] would be super cute too!
I think that the only name here that sounds right with [name]Lulu[/name] as a mn is [name]Olive[/name]. For the rest I think [name]Lou[/name] / [name]Lu[/name] could work, but it really isn’t great sounding with any of them. [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Lu[/name] is an actress, [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Lu[/name] is L heavy and still sounds enough like [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Lui[/name] to remind you of the actress and [name]Polly[/name] [name]Lu[/name] is also L heavy…it also sounds very little girlish to me.
[name]Olive[/name]- Not a favorite of mine.
[name]Lucy[/name]- This is really cute, but I prefer [name]Luciana[/name] or [name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Lacey[/name]- this is my favorite of your list. I think it’s cutesy and feminine, but in a good way.
[name]Polly[/name]- Not a favorite of mine. I prefer [name]Dolly[/name], [name]Lolly[/name], [name]Holly[/name], ect
I would do [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Lula[/name] [name]Olive[/name] or [name]Lolly[/name] [name]Louise[/name]?
[name]Olive[/name] is in danger of getting to that popular level–think of [name]Isla[/name] [name]Fisher[/name]'s baby. It’s also… Popeye-ish? I prefer [name]Olivia[/name].
[name]Polly[/name]'s cute. I actually prefer [name]Lucy[/name] out of all these. [name]Just[/name] not for [name]Lucille[/name]–[name]Lucia[/name], [name]Lucilla[/name].
[name]Lacey[/name] is very cute, but I always think of [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Peterson[/name], as I haven’t heard the name used much outside of that realm.
i like [name]Lacey[/name] best but it does have a trendy sound/cutesy sound- [name]Lucy[/name] is sweet but I think I’d like [name]Lacey[/name] better-I don’t like [name]Olive[/name] at all-just NMS.
