We’ve gone through suggestions from previous posts and we both like the following names:
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Jemma[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].
We are having twin girls, so we would like the names to sound good together. Also, do they sound good with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Penny[/name_u] (older siblings). Their middle names are to be [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Heather[/name_f] (family names).
Suggestions are always welcomed! Thank you!
EDIT: just for future reference Elliot is a boy, I sometimes forget that it’s a unisex name.
My pick would be [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. The middle names being interchangeable as they both go with [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Heather[/name_f].
[name_f]Imagine[/name_f] the whole gang;
[name_u]Ali[/name_u]
Oli
[name_u]Penny[/name_u]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (boy or girl?)
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you see the trend? The nicknames all end in “I”. Very cute, no?
Also, someone else mentioned, which I think it kind of cute:
You could nickname them [name_u]Allie[/name_u], [name_u]Ollie[/name_u], [name_u]Penny[/name_u], and [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_u]Penny[/name_u] sound like a lovely sib set of sisters.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my favorite combo! I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but it may be too close to [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. I like all your names except [name_f]Olive[/name_f].
Nice list! I especially like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_f]Jemma[/name_f] (although I prefer the G spelling myself.) [name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] (I wouldn’t pair [name_f]Olive[/name_f] with [name_f]Heather[/name_f] because technically [name_f]Heather[/name_f] is also a word/nature name and “olive heather” sounds like a paint color.)
More pairings:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Jemma[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Jemma[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemma[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
I’d try to avoid pairing other names that end in A with [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and avoid pairing nature/word names with [name_f]Heather[/name_f]. Other than that, they pretty much all go with [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Heather[/name_f].
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] names for the big sibs and great options for the lil bitties on the way!
I don’t know how you feel about shortening [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and dropping the E. But I feel it really makes the sibset cohesive.
The twins names are not too matchy matchy… And one is not more frilly than the other.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_u]Penny[/name_u]…[name_f]Liza[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Or
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_u]Penny[/name_u]…[name_f]Liza[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] together!
I also like [name_f]Jemma[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] I don’t think goes with either of the names.
As soon as someone said [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] the deal was settled for me. That is adorable beyond words, I can’t even think of any other suggestions.
My vote goes to:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f] & [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
