We are currently liking [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] for girl #2. I’ve never been a huge fan of same first letter siblings, but might have to change my tune. I feel like the sounds are different enough that we won’t get tongue tied. They are both uncommon but easily spelled and read.
Wavey [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]. Too cutesy?
Also, any references or thoughts on [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] that I might be unaware of? Would rather hear it now then after she’s here
I’ve never considered [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] for a girl, but I actually really like it. While the two names start with the same letter, I think they’re different enough. The only association I really have for [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] is that it’s the full name of a likable character from the Supergirl tv show.
I love it! Our first would’ve been [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] if my husband liked it. [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] & [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] don’t share a whole lot besides the first initial. I think they slyly make cute sister pair
I don’t think you need to worry about nicknames being too cutesy since people often grow out of nicknames anyway. I think cutesy is totally acceptable for young children
I love this combo! And I’ve always adored the name [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] for a girl, it’s so different and cute to me. I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] would work well together.
LOVE [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] for your girl! I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (or Wavey and Winnie) sound so sweet together. I do think the combo sounds cutesy but I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all! I personally think it’s a great choice but if you’re looking for some alternatives that have the same energy as those two names, here are a few:
[name_m]Saw[/name_m] another commenter mention [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]! I like that and love that [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] is still a nick name option
