I do get tongue-twistery trying to say them together, yeah. So I would say no for sisters, although I suppose you could do something like [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]?
I LOVE both, but lean more toward [name_f]Ava[/name_f] up front. I love [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] (especially for the reminder of White [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]!), but prefer her in the middle. I used to know someone on a baby name site who had a [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] nn Wavey, which I think is so cute.
I’m gonna go against the grain and say they could work for sisters, they do have similar sound but not too terrible, However I think it might be an accent thing if you pronounce ‘er’ as ‘Uh’ then I could see how they are too close, but if you pronounce the ‘er’ sound it’s different enough it could work.
Between the two they’re both lovely however [name_f]Ava[/name_f] has lost a little of its charm just from over exposure. [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] feels quirky and fresh.
I love [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] - it feels so fresh, especially compared to an older classic like [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] can easily pass for either sophisticated or spunky and I love that it offers that dual personality.
I have never met someone with this name. It has kind of a grandma vibe to it but also a hippie vibe. There’s some fun nickname potential. The only association I have is Wizards of [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] place but anyone not my age probably wouldn’t think of it.
Waverly and [name_f]Ava[/name_f] don’t feel too close to be siblings. They sound different when I say them out loud and they use different letters.
