Way to honor an Erika

I posted below about a name we are considering, however, I keep feeling like it would be wonderful if I could honor my grandma with baby’s name. My grandma is [name]Erika[/name] [name]Toni[/name]. I don’t really care for either name but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that would be a nod to either of those names?

E________ [name]Antonia[/name] with any E first name
[name]Elka[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Antoinette[/name]

Maybe names including eri are a stretch but that gives you a lot of options

Merit
[name]Erin[/name]
[name]Cheri[/name]
[name]Merida[/name]
Ect

A name with the same meaning as [name]Erika[/name] would be a good way to honor her, and I think that [name]Antonia[/name] is great for [name]Toni[/name]. A few ideas:
[name]Frieda[/name] Anotnia
Hariett [name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name] [name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Isolde[/name] [name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Amari[/name] [name]Antonia[/name]

I hope that helps!

[name]How[/name] about [name]Eris[/name]?

I would use [name]Antoinette[/name] to replace [name]Toni[/name]! I am a sucker for french names and it is one of my favorites. So many nn’s, too. She could shorten it to [name]Toni[/name], [name]Annie[/name], or [name]Etta[/name]. I think a name like [name]Karina[/name] sounds a little like [name]Erika[/name], but a little more modern. Alarica is very pretty as well and has a similar meaning. [name]Rika[/name] also has the same meaning and is almsot identical, but has a little bit of a twist.

To honour with a son, you can use [name]Eric[/name] or [name]Richard[/name] (Ri©k being a common nickname for it) and [name]Anthony[/name]/[name]Anton[/name] - I think [name]Richard[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] is lovely.

For girls, it’s a bit more tricky. [name]Antonia[/name] (my fave) or [name]Antoinette[/name] work to honour [name]Toni[/name], and for [name]Erika[/name] I guess it depends how much of a stretch you are willing to go. Juggling the letters gives you [name]Keira[/name], or you could go for another name wth a similar sound - [name]Annika[/name] has the -ka ending, and [name]Erin[/name] has the start. Actually, [name]Annika[/name] [name]Erin[/name] could work well as a name.

[name]Erica[/name] is a genus of approximately 860 species of flowering plants in the family Ericaceae, commonly known as “heath” and “heather.” So one way to honor [name]Erica[/name], would be to include either [name]Heath[/name] or [name]Heather[/name] as a middle name…

The suggestion of [name]Annika[/name] [name]Erin[/name] by essjay is quite innovative and lovely, as well.

my first thought was [name]Antoinette[/name] for “[name]Toni[/name]” as well!
