Looking for ideas for ways to do an honor name for [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ann[/name], which was my mom’s name (she never liked much). I’ve been thinking [name]Ainslie[/name], but recently saw [name]Annalea[/name] too and kind of like that, and thought I’d see if you creative folks have any other ideas! My next favorite girl’s name is [name]Romilly[/name] [name]Helena[/name] [name]Joy[/name], and we’d probably want to do 3 names for all girls, maybe with the 3rd name being a virtue name - [name]Ainslie[/name] [name]Moira[/name] [name]Hope[/name]? For reference, my sons are [name]Cashel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] and [name]Torin[/name] [name]Michael[/name], so something that goes with those names.
I love [name]Ainslie[/name]! Could [name]Amelie[/name] stretch to honor [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ann[/name]?
I actually love [name]Annaleigh[/name], or even [name]Annalie[/name] or [name]Annalee[/name]. Good luck!
[name]Anneliese[/name] - I am doing the exact same thing with our next daughter, [name]Clara[/name]. Her name will be [name]Clara[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name] to honor my Mom ([name]Anne[/name]) and my Grandma ([name]Lee[/name]). I love [name]Anneliese[/name] [name]Moira[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
I really like [name]Annaleigh[/name] and would have it on our list expect husband didn’t like it.
Or what about something like [name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]?
I love [name]Amelie[/name] - kind of a cleaver way to incorporate both [name]Ann[/name] and [name]Leigh[/name] and goes with your boys names. Good luck!
[name]Liana[/name] came to mind.
Really sorry, but every time I see [name]Annalea[/name]/[name]Analeigh[/name] all I can think of is the word “anally”, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who would see that - could really be some bad teasing potential. I like the suggestions of [name]Amelie[/name] and [name]Liana[/name].
I think [name]Annaleigh[/name] is really cute! I like this spelling instead of [name]Annalea[/name]. I might run this by my DH to see if he likes it…I have a sister named [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Ann[/name] : ) I’m not super creative and always thought of using [name]Ann[/name] as a MN to honor her but [name]Annaleigh[/name] is a great idea! Good [name]Luck[/name]!
