There a few of our relatives we would like to honor, but don’t particularly like their names. We are looking for ways to slightly modify them to make them suit our tastes, and no one can have better suggestions than you ladies! You always come up with such great ideas, I would love some input The names are :
[name]Sandra[/name]
[name]Joan[/name]
[name]Mathew[/name] (we like it as is but are open to suggestions for boys and girls)
[name]Lucy[/name] (again, like it as is, but open to suggestions)
[name]Julian[/name] (same, for boys and girls)
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Joanna[/name]
[name]Johannah[/name]
[name]Joelle[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Jolie[/name]
Nn for many of the above [name]Joey[/name]
Thank you ladies There are some great ideas in there. I had already thought of [name]Sandrine[/name], which I [name]LOVE[/name], but [name]Cassandra[/name] is another interesting possibility. I like [name]Joanna[/name]/[name]Johannah[/name], and I love [name]Josephine[/name], but I had never thought of it as close enough to [name]Joan[/name]. I adore all the [name]Mathew[/name] variations, and would use any of them ( i can’t get [name]Mattea[/name] off my mind these days!) For a girl, I would use [name]Lucy[/name] as is (love it!) but I hadn’t thought of [name]Lucas[/name]/[name]Lucius[/name] for a boy. Great suggestions! And for a girl variation of [name]Julian[/name], my husband loves [name]Julia[/name] but I’m too in love with [name]Juliet[/name] to let him have his way!
We will definitely use some of these as middle names. We’re waiting to reach a final decision on first names to start thinking of combinations, but when we do I’ll post again for opinions I’m still on bed rest and it still dreadful, but thinking of names is making it a little more entertaining. Thank you again
