Ways to get to Bee...

What are some cute ways you can think of to get nn [name]Bee[/name]? I saw a Birth Announcement about a little girl [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Bee[/name], and I thought it was cute. I also know [name]Beatrice[/name]/trix would work but I just wanted more ideas. Thanks!

To me, anybody with a name that starts with B could go by [name]Bee[/name] or [name]Bea[/name]! I absolutly love the nickname [name]Bea[/name], and think [name]Beatrice[/name] is adorable but not really my style, so i am also eager to see others suggestions!

I love [name]Bee[/name] as a nickname! I also think any name beginning with B would work.

Maybe even [name]Gabriella[/name] or [name]Sabrina[/name] would work…

[name]Bridget[/name] - I really dig this as a nickname (even for myself)
[name]Beatrice[/name] and like are definite origins of [name]Bee[/name] and also:
[name]Melissa[/name] (means bee) - OK, I think it’s a cute way to get a nn

I know a [name]Thea[/name] nn [name]Bee[/name] - I assume it evolved from the Thee nickname

Her middle name could start with a “B”.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] nn [name]Libbie[/name] nn [name]Bee[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name] nn [name]Tibbie[/name] nn [name]Bee[/name]

Anything that starts with B. My last name starts with Be so I use [name]Bee[/name] sometimes. I think when I have a classroom I will have students call me Mrs. [name]Bee[/name], but never Mrs. B

Question: Is there a pronunciation difference between [name]Bea[/name] and [name]Bee[/name]? I know one [name]Bea[/name] who pronounces it like [name]Bee[/name], but I’m not sure if that’s always the case?

Well of course [name]Bee[/name] is pronounced like the animal, but [name]Bea[/name] can be pronounced two ways - [name]Bee[/name] or [name]Bee[/name]-uh. Usually its a nn for [name]BEAtrice[/name].

my DS beckett’s nn is bee!
