Ways to Honor Sharon

Any ideas on ways to honor [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] that do not end in an N? (This would be in the middle spot if that makes a difference.)

I think you should use [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] since it will be in the middle.

[name_u]Blair[/name_u] means ‘dweller on the plain’’ which is a nice way to honour [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] ‘‘the plain’’. [name_f]Randa[/name_f] and [name_f]Sahara[/name_f] both are linked to deserts too and coincidentally have similar letters. The only other ones I could find where [name_f]Hialeah[/name_f] ‘‘prairie’’ and [name_u]Abilene[/name_u] which is also Hebrew meaning ‘‘grass’’.

Lots of these are ultra-stretched but they contain similar letters and sounds ([name_f]Sharon[/name_f] is a hard one!)…
[name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Sora[/name_f], [name_f]Rhona[/name_f]/[name_f]Rona[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] conatain all the same letters.
[name_f]Sharai[/name_f]/[name_f]Sarai[/name_f]
[name_f]Shari[/name_f]/[name_f]Sari[/name_f]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_f]Sian[/name_f], Sharn
[name_f]Shara[/name_f]
[name_f]Sharda[/name_f]
[name_f]Sharlene[/name_f] or [name_f]Sharlena[/name_f]
[name_f]Rohana[/name_f]
[name_f]Ronna[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f] (pronounced [name_f]RO[/name_f]-sheen)
[name_f]Ronja[/name_f], [name_f]Ronia[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]

my favourites and the ones which work best are in bold.

That’s a tricky one. [name_f]Cheri[/name_f]/[name_f]Cherie[/name_f] could work (as in the term of endearment “mon cheri/ma cherie.”) The meaning of [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] is “a plain” so maybe [name_f]Savanna/name_f -means open plain, or [name_u]Blair[/name_u]- means field or plain. Good luck!

[name_u]Abilene[/name_u] would be my favourite, but there is also [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], which means ‘grassy plain’ depending on the source.

[name_f]Sharona[/name_f] would work.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Sharona[/name_f]? (Sha-[name_f]ROE[/name_f]-nah)
Pretty, uncommon, honors [name_f]Sharon[/name_f], and doesn’t end with an n!

Thanks for the great suggestions!

Any thoughts on [name_f]Shara[/name_f]?
