I am leaning heavily towards [name_m]Felix[/name_m] as a sibling for [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m].
Here are my reason for choosing the name [name_m]Felix[/name_m]: Short and sweet, popular around the world but rare in USA, also works well in foreign languages, Latin name matches the siblings, perfect meaning “happy, lucky, successful”, an older name that still feels modern, uncommon yet familiar.
Some considerations: feels a little nerdy or weak compared to [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
Does anyone want to help me come up with some cool middle names?
Other names we like but probably won’t use: [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] (DH said no), [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] (nice but I’m not sure), [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] (too popular), [name_u]Asher[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (neither of these felt right after all).

Felix [name_u]Orion[/name_u] was my first thought before I read far enough down to see that it was one you suggested. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is not weak or nerdy at all.
The only thing stopping me from [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] is the initials FOP? It sounds like a real word so I looked it up, and behold – “a man who is concerned with his clothes and appearance in an affected and excessive way; a dandy.”
I love [name_m]Felix[/name_m]! It’s high on my list.
I understand your concern about [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], but just remember they’ll be adults with separate lives. You want names that stand on their own and both of these do!

I appreciate your honesty about the name’s undertones and associations. I think it’s possible to overcome the nerdy / cat stereotype. “Fix-It [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m].” and “[name_m]Felix[/name_m] the [name_f]Cat[/name_f]” aren’t bad characters, so I haven’t been shaken away from using it. Personally, I have strong feelings against some popular names like “[name_u]Jasper[/name_u]”, “[name_m]Lucius[/name_m]”, or “[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]” because they have been overused with villains and bad guys in movies or games. So I know how it goes.
I like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. I don’t think the name has a weak vibe. I think of it as playful.

Felix is a brilliant choice as a sibling for [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], I love how they all go together. It’s familiar but not used much, which I love in a name.
Felix [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]. You said [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is a front runner for the first name but I think it’s brilliant as a middle for [name_m]Felix[/name_m] too.
Felix [name_u]Orion[/name_u] also great too!
Felix [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] from an earlier suggestion is also a handsome combo.
