What do you think about the name [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]? Any suggestions for sibling names??
Seems very trendy. I’m not sure the names fit together.
They are very nice names, but gaining popularity rapidly. It sounds a bit cookie cutter, to be frank.
@morg215: Thanks for your input! I understand what you are saying, but I think all the names I like are more on the trendy side. Popularity doesn’t really bother me; I would rather choose a name people are familiar with than something that nobody knows how to spell or pronounce, and has to be explained all the time.
I think [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is lovely. I especially love that spelling of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. I have a love hate relationship with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] after reading GWTW, but it is a beautiful name despite the self-centered character.
I really, really like it. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is classic, [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is pretty and not super popular. An underused beauty. As for sibling names, I would go for something classic, maybe with a vintage flare. I’m thinking along the lines of [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], etc. for girls, and then [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Harry[/name_m], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], etc. for boys.
@hardertobreathe: I totally get the love-hate relationship! Sometimes I think it sounds too southern for my usual style, but at the same time it’s so beautiful and feminine it stays at the top of my list!
@lightsea: Thanks! I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]; it’s also on my list. I like all of your other suggestions as well, but would probably use them in the middle spot. I tend to love popular trendy first names with a more classic middle.
