[name_f]Arcana[/name_f] struck me while I was playing some Dungeons and Dragons today… I think it actually makes quite a stunning girl’s name. It seems to be completely off the radar as I can’t find any discussion of it online!
Berries, what are your thoughts on [name_f]Arcana[/name_f]?

You’re right, it is certainly off the radar! I don’t recall encountering it before, and I’d like to say I’ve met a lot of names!
It’s not my usual style, but I do like it. It feels bohemian and mysterious and definitely fits well with your other names. It also reminds me of [name_f]Arachne[/name_f] - whether that’s a positive thing or not is up to you! 
I think it would sound quite lovely when paired with a classical, but slightly unique middle name… I’m thinking along the lines of [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], [name_f]Blanche[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f], etc. It would sound lovely in the middle spot of just about any combo too. 
I love Arachne and I adore spiders, so this is definitely a positive for me!

I think [name_f]Arcana[/name_f] certainly works ! I have never come across one . To me it feels almost dark and nature esque!
I can see [name_f]Arcana[/name_f] fitting in with siblings [name_m]Ivor[/name_m] and [name_m]Draco[/name_m] or sisters [name_f]Arcana[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]

Yes, that’s intentional! I like the mysterious, secret meaning of the word arcane. I don’t consider this link a bad thing at all! But I’d be interested to know if you do 
I don’t think its negative but its quite an intense word. I don’t think Id want to feel as though I was arcane if that makes sense.
