It has a cute sound but besides the city, it makes me think of the rum brand. I wouldn’t use it for that reason but I also wouldn’t be shocked to see it being used.

I second the rum comment, but also the song Malibu by [name_u]Kim[/name_u] [name_m]Petras[/name_m]! It’s not a bad song so, it wouldn’t bother me lol.

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s too out there, but I’d say it’s very obviously tied to the city. So it depends if you mind that as a foremost association. [name_f]My[/name_f] second strong association is the car, [name_u]Chevy[/name_u] Malibu.

I associate it too strongly with alcohol, but the sound is cute!
i associate it with the song malibu by miley cyrus! and also the city. but i think it has a cute sound and it fits in with the trend of place names which are becoming increasingly more popular!
