[name_f]Alma[/name_f] is my second option and since I don’t know anyone with this name and it’s not exactly common I would really like to get some more opinions on it. The two things I love most about it are the meaning (Soul) and how feminine and profound it feels.
I think it’s a very lovely, feminine name. It’s not common.
I also like [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], and there’s a similar, much longer name that I like as well, [name_f]Amandine[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Alma[/name_f] - it’s sweet and vintage, familiar but not overheard.

[name_f]Alma[/name_f] is growing on me. I watched a YouTube clip on a young composer, pianist and violinist called [name_f]Alma[/name_f] Deutscher recently and it rather endeared me to the name! I agree that it feels very sweet and vintage, with a quiet strength to it. And a lovely meaning, too!
I like [name_f]Alma[/name_f]. She has a pleasant sound and feel, and as you said an awesome meaning. Definitely unusual and underused, but a beautiful and memorable choice.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the name. It’s so pretty and feminine, but not overtly feminine. Beautiful name all around
