[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] would work for an adult or more for a child? What combos would you suggest?

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Clarice[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
I like the alliteration of an A middle name with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], and also more “frilly” names ending in “ie” and “ce/s” sounds best.
i think it works for both!
Autumn Brielle
Autumn Harlow
Autumn Ruth
Autumn Dahlia
Autumn Elowen
Autumn Evaline
Autumn Rosalie
Autumn Madelaine
Autumn Bellamy
Autumn Astoria
Autumn Charlotte
Autumn Cleo
Autumn Emrys
Autumn Eleanor
Autumn Amelie
Autumn Amabel
Autumn Maisie
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] definitely works for any age. I really like it, but I haven’t thought about it much for a first. I think it has a strong, down to earth, cool feel about it, and it’s my favourite season! For middles maybe:
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Ziva[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] Georgina/Georgiana
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
It’s difficult to come up with something that isn’t also a nature or word name!
I love the name Autumn! I think it works really well for both
I think [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] could work on an adult.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
I’ve always liked it and I think it has a mature enough sound.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Renee[/name_u]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
I like it a lot. I have a cousin with this name and I think it ages well.
However I really dislike how this name is pronounced in some American accents (almost more like Ah-tum). To me it really detracts from the beauty of the name. But this can’t be helped! [name_m]Just[/name_m] a personal peeve of mine lol.
I think [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] would work for an adult but more for a child.
I would suggest [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
I have such a thing for Au- names, and Autumn is lovely. I like it on a girl, though I really love it for a boy! I think it works for all ages and genders, personally.
For femme combos, I like it paired with longer, more elaborate middles:
Autumn Evangeline
Autumn Octavia
Autumn Euphemia
Autumn Isadora
Autumn Forsythia
Autumn Illyria
Autumn Celestine
Autumn Sophronia
Autumn Xanthippe
Autumn Damiana
Autumn Eurydice
Autumn Theodosia
Autumn Persephone
Autumn Eleanora
Autumn Iphigenia
Autumn Genevieve
Autumn Cleopatra
Autumn Vespertine
Autumn Leocadia
Autumn Rosalind
Autumn Theophaneia
Autumn Magdalene
Autumn Semiramis
Autumn Tatiana
Autumn Fiammetta
Autumn Parthenia
Ignorant American here >_> How is it pronounced where you live? (I’m so curious! I’ve only ever heard it the way you described.)
[name_u]Love[/name_u] autumn. Works beautifully on a adult.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
The Au sound is much more closed in. Think of it rhyming with how a posh [name_f]English[/name_f] person might say more or law?
I’m in Australia. And definitely not having a go at American accents! [name_m]Just[/name_m] this one name I don’t like pronounced that way! I assume that Australians are butchering names that others like!
Ooh, that does sound lovely!
I think it works better for a child but it’s fine for both
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] () might be cliché but i love it
I think [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is gorgeous such a lovely seasonal name with beautiful imagery attached. I definitely think she works for all ages and is a great name to have
You’ve had a few suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f]
I’ve seen [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] on both adults and children. The name works for both well. IMO it is the person (regardless of age) who makes the name, not the other way around.
