WDYT of Bianca?

I always thought it was cute but now it’s growing on me. WDYT of [name]Bianca[/name]?

It’s not really my style, but I think it’s a lovely name.

It’s very pretty. I actually have a friend named [name]Bianca[/name] who’s around sixteen. I wouldnt’ use it myself ([name]Bianca[/name] is nice, but she recently asked me if [name]Athena[/name] was my first or last name,) but I think it would be adorable on a little girl! [name]Bianca[/name] [name]Isela[/name] or [name]Bianca[/name] [name]Isla[/name] would be a pretty combo.

  • [name]Athena[/name]

I really like it. To me it’s sophisticated. Feminine without being too princessy or flowery. It never boomed hard so it isn’t dated and it isn’t trendy. reminds me of [name]Simone[/name], [name]Ramona[/name]…

I think it’s got a bit of Renaissance mystique to it. It’s a name that can be said in more than a few languages without butchering (always a plus in this [name]German[/name]/Spanish/English-speaking family!) Yes, I think I like [name]Bianca[/name] quite a lot.

I really like it. [name]Bianca[/name]'s pretty.

I have always really loved [name]Bianca[/name] and am often surprised its not more popular here on Nameberry–especially with the adorable nickname options.

Second this!

I’ve long had a soft spot for [name]Bianca[/name]. It has a slight exotic feel, is Shakespearean, and also has the adorable association of being the female mouse in Disney’s The Rescuers.

I think it’s a beautiful name, and under appreciated. I can really see it working at all ages, and in all areas of life.

I think it’s really cute.

I like it. I’ve totally forgotten about this name, and while I’m not sure it’d be currently usable in the UK (there’s a character with that name in Eastenders, and she’s…gobby) I think it’s a beautiful name that could work well in many languages.

[name]Bianca[/name] is on my girl list, so a big thumbs up from me! I don’t think we will end up using it, my husband for some reason is not a huge fan, but I really like the name.

I really like it! [name]Lovely[/name] name, quite a bit of history to it,being the name of one of the sisters in Shakespeares The Taming of the Shrew.

I love [name]Bianca[/name]. It’s beautiful and feminine without being over the top. I too often wonder why it is not more popular. I assumed people here on nameberry don’t like it very much.

The Aussie accent tends to make it [name]Bee[/name]-YANK-uh which makes me flinch. Pronounced properly it is a lot nicer. It had a little rise locally during the late 80’s with the [name]Stephanie[/name], [name]Tiffany[/name] names and I tend to associate those as NMS.

It is a Shakespearean name which is a big plus in my book

I like [name]Bianca[/name] quite a lot. It works for anyone of any age, and can work for anyone from a soccer player to a fashion designer. It’s quite under appreciated and beautiful [name]IMO[/name].
