I expected this crush to pass very quickly, but I’ve been crushing on it for a few weeks now. I think it’s a lot softer than the Kaylee spelling.
I love the sound of it, but I prefer the [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] spelling.
I also like [name_f]Caylee[/name_f] a little bit, it’s just that K that throws me off.
Oh, I really like [name_f]Caylee[/name_f]!
nice! i think ceilidh or cailey are my favourite spellings but there’s nothing wrong with this.
i also prefer it to kaylee/kayley
I prefer other spellings but the sound is really nice
I don’t have a spelling preference, but I really, really like the name.
Hm. I’m not the biggest fan of the double Ys in this spelling. It’s a fine name, I just find it overdone.
[name_f]Caylie[/name_f]
[name_f]Caylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailey[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailie[/name_f]
Any other ideas?
I usually prefer names starting with C over K but this is an exception so I prefer [name_f]Kayley[/name_f]. [name_f]Cayley[/name_f] is nice though.
What about:
[name_f]Cayleigh[/name_f]
[name_u]Caley[/name_u]
[name_f]Cailee[/name_f]
[name_f]Cayli[/name_f]
[name_f]Kayley[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaylie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kailee[/name_f]
[name_f]Kailie[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Cayley[/name_f]! And pretty much all of the the other spellings, even though it reminds me of [name_u]Quest[/name_u] for Camelot, and I don’t really like that movie.
This is Anglicized spelling of [name_f]Ceilidh[/name_f] I believe. I personally love [name_f]Caylie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] or maybe even [name_f]Cailey[/name_f] seems bit more pleasant to the eye than all [name_f]Cayley[/name_f] or [name_f]Caylee[/name_f].
I personally think it sounds very close to [name_u]Kelly[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] preference would then be
[name_f]Kailey[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailey[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaylie[/name_f]
[name_f]Caylie[/name_f]
I think the double y is a bit much for me, though the name itself is lovely. Maybe a bit past its peak though, I feel like it was quite popular 10 years ago. I know a [name_f]Caeli[/name_f], which I always thought was really pretty, if you prefer that spelling.
I’m not a fan of the [name_f]Cayley[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]
I like the sound, but the mere fact it has myriad spellings turns me off of it in a big way. The same goes for associated names like Kaelyn and Katelyn. I would personally hate to have a name that must always be spelled out and almost no one would get right the first time. As others have said, I find the 2 Ys aesthetically displeasing as well.
