My husband and I love the name [name]Declan[/name] for our son, brother to [name]Sabrina[/name] [name]Danielle[/name]. We will probably use the middle name [name]Michael[/name] though the flow is not perfect it’s my Dad’s name and I’d like to use it. We’ve had mostly positive reactions but a few negative and I"m just wondering what do you all think? In the past we’ve liked [name]Silas[/name] but my husband thinks [name]Declan[/name] is much more masculine. I’m just a little concerned with this name becoming too popular. I don’t think it will be as popular as [name]Aiden[/name] but I can’t be sure. What do you predict? Any suggestions on other names we might like? He is due in less than a month and we’d like to have a few options when he is born.
We must have the same taste in names, because I love both [name]Declan[/name] and [name]Silas[/name]. I love, love, [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Declan[/name]!!! I love it much more than [name]Silas[/name]. As far a popularity it’s hard to say. I only know 1 [name]Declan[/name], under a year old - he’s the first and only [name]Declan[/name] I’ve ever come across. I think [name]Declan[/name] [name]Michael[/name] is very handsome!

I do not think [name]Declan[/name] will become the next [name]Aidan[/name]. It is nice, it is modern it has a cool nn Deck.
When I first heard this name years ago I wasn’t all that keen on it, however, I have come to appreciate it more. I would definitely choose this over [name]Silas[/name] esp as you have a child whose name starts with “S”
