Wdyt of Dekker with brothers [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u]? More commonly spelled [name_m]Decker[/name_m], but I think I prefer the alternative spelling.
It’s not bad but I do prefer the [name_m]Decker[/name_m] spelling. It fits better with [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u]. I don’t really like that it ends in -er like [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] does though.
I agree about the -er ending, shilo.
Dislike quite a bit. [name_m]Just[/name_m] looks misspelled and sounds like “deck her”
I’m not really a fan of Dekker/[name_m]Decker[/name_m] (reminds me of the tool company [name_m]Black[/name_m] & [name_m]Decker[/name_m] quite a bit) but if I would have to choose I would use [name_m]Decker[/name_m] because for me also Dekker looks a bit misspelled.
I think Dekker is a wonderful name! It’s a Dutch surname- I think of [name_f]Laura[/name_f] Dekker, the teenage girl who sailed around the world alone a year or two ago. Her story is quite inspiring, and she’d be a great person to share a name with.
I think it’s a bit too wordy for my taste, but that said your other boys have names that follow suit, so maybe that’s fine? It’s not to my taste but the nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m] would be pretty great. (I think I’d just go with [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] though)
I’d pick [name_m]Declan[/name_m] or [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] over this.
So sorry but I strongly dislike! The name itself is eh, but I especially dislike the “KKer” aspect to it, and I don’t usually mind alternative spellings, but there is something about this one that just doesn’t sit well.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_m]Derek[/name_m], [name_u]Devon[/name_u], [name_m]Dixon[/name_m], [name_m]Deacon[/name_m], or [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] maybe???
[name_f]Love[/name_f] your other name choices of [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] though. Make this third one just as good! Good luck!
Not a fan of the name with the same ending as [name_m]Tanner[/name_m], and I agree that [name_m]Decker[/name_m] looks more ‘correct’.
I think it definitely works stylistically, though I don’t know about [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] and [name_m]Decker[/name_m] together. I prefer [name_m]Decker[/name_m] since your older two aren’t uniquely spelled in any way. I like a pp’s suggestion of [name_m]Declan[/name_m] as an alternative.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Derek[/name_m]?
[name_m]Derek[/name_m] is the name of the man I was in a serious relationship with before my husband. I do like the name, but it would probably be a little awkward and inappropriate. Lol
I’m not a fan but would prefer spelling [name_m]Decker[/name_m] over Dekker. I love the previous suggestions of [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] or [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] though. I think they go well.
[name_m]Tanner[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] are very handsome together.
The trouble I have with many names ending in “er” is that I hear other things ([name_m]Ryder[/name_m] - ride her; Dekker - deck her). Sorry I don’t care for Dekker/[name_m]Decker[/name_m].
