So hubs and I are trying to nail down girl names. We both really like [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] and we’re trying to figure out first name versus middle names. [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] & [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are both darling but I’d personally go for [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] since it’s an honor.
Both [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] are really girly and free spirited and I like them both but I don’t know if I love them together. [name_f]Clio[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are more balanced with [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] in my opinion. However, if you love [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] as a first then it’s great! I’m also thinking of using my grandmothers name (as a middle) so I think it’s amazing you love her name enough to consider it as a first! I’d choose based on the name you like best as a first. [name_f]Dolly[/name_f], [name_f]Clio[/name_f] or [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] are all great choices.
I think [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] fit well stylistically, and both feel bright and playful, but are a bit L heavy together. [name_f]Clio[/name_f] [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] is perfect imo, but [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] might be a better choice due to the meaning it has for you.
I know [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] has meaning for you, but I feel like it’s too tied to [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_m]Parton[/name_m]. Some similar names that could still honor her are are [name_f]Dodie[/name_f], [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], [name_f]Lollie[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], and [name_f]Polly[/name_f]. I also prefer the [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Clio[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is my favorite from your options.
Thanks all, I think we’re going to go with [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] as a first name, but considering different middle names than [name_f]Tallula[/name_f]. Right now considering [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
