Thoughts on [name_f]Ellia[/name_f]?
I’m not a fan. It sounds like somebody could not decide between [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and some -ia name.
I had to look at it closely to see whether it was Ellla or [name_f]Ellia[/name_f]. It reminds me of [name_u]Elias[/name_u].
I love it! It’s been on my list for a few months now.
Would you consider [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Ellia[/name_f]? I am not quite sold on [name_f]Ellia[/name_f] as a standalone. I think she would get mixed up in a sea of Ellies and Ellas. Good luck!
Sounds made up to me. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] by itself is lovely or [name_u]Elia[/name_u]/[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] are better.
It’s fine, but not my style. I much prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f].
I think it could be pretty, but I think it would get mixed up with [name_f]Ella[/name_f].
I think it’s lovely, but I would change the spelling to [name_u]Elia[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Ellia[/name_f] looks like [name_f]Ella[/name_f] at a glance.
Is [name_f]Ellia[/name_f] “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]-ee-uh” or “Ee-ly-uh”? If it’s the 2nd pronunciation I listed I much prefer [name_u]Elia[/name_u], like [name_u]Elias[/name_u] without the S.
I like it a lot. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t think it sounds made up at all, but perhaps that’s because there is a character named [name_u]Elia[/name_u] in Game of Thrones, so I’m used to hearing it. Anyway, I prefer [name_u]Elia[/name_u] to [name_f]Ellia[/name_f], but they are both exceedingly lovely. [name_u]Elia[/name_u]/[name_f]Ellia[/name_f] just has a musical quality that [name_f]Ella[/name_f] doesn’t have. I adore it.
I agree that it would get mistaken for another name and that it appears made up.
It’s pronounced [name_f]Ell[/name_f]-lee-ah. I’m not really worried about it getting mixed up with [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or even [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] – so many names sound similar so once [name_f]Ellia[/name_f] introduced herself and was known as [name_f]Ellia[/name_f] I don’t think it would be a problem, also it’s spelled very straight forward so I don’t see it being read as [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I agree, I was about to comment saying basically exactly this! I am however not a big fan of [name_f]Ellia[/name_f], but I do think it’s usable. I like the suggestion of [name_f]Elliana[/name_f]/[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ellia[/name_f]
