Wdyt of Eucalypta?

Apparently it was the name of a (somewhat traumatizing) witch from a children’s program in the '60s). And yet I like it, especially with a nickname like Eucie/Eukie/[name]Yuki[/name]. Not exactly a favorite, but definitely interesting. What do you think?

nn yucky…

Makes me think eucalyptus leaves and the apocalypse. strange combination.

Like Eucalyptus? What Koala’s eat… I’d have to say no

What about [name]Eudora[/name]? Or [name]Eulalie[/name]? [name]Calypso[/name]? [name]Callista[/name]?
In the same plant family, [name]Myrtle[/name]?
Eucalypta is not my style. If you feel powerfully connected to the plant, you could just use Eucalyptus as a middle name, but it would definitely be an eccentric choice.

Same! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought “apocalypse.” I thought I was being weird.

I honestly feel a bit overwhelmed by Eucalypta. It’s a lot of name. I think it would be hard to wear. If you’re absolutely in love with it, I would only use it in the middle.

It’s a bit more of a stretch, but maybe you could get Eukie out of Eudokia (Meaning, origin and history of the name Eudokia - Behind the Name)?

People are thinking of apocalypse from the Greek root calyps, which is also where the calypso dance comes from. It refers to a covering - apocalypse = uncovering (of what was previously hidden). So Eucalyptus the plant refers to good cover.

Anyway, Eucalypta is way too much.

I live in Australia and if a child was named Eucalypta they would be laughed at. Maybe where you live it would be different but it is a way to crazy name for here!

Its just really really horrible

[name]Way[/name] to much for a person in real life. [name]Just[/name] not my style.

  • [name]Athena[/name]

I like the nickname [name]Yuki[/name] (pronounced yoo - kee). But Eucalypta is not good.

I’d say Eudoxia, [name]Eulalia[/name] or [name]Calypso[/name] would be a more realistic option.

Oh no, I can’t go for Eucalyptus.
