Pronounced Fon - Taine and is Golf - Rain and is of French origin and means fountain/water source. What do you think? Has the nn Tay-tay which I think is cute?!

Makes me think of [name_m]Trip[/name_m] Fontaine from The Virgin Suicides. It has a real retro feeling to me as a result, which makes it kind of cool. Not sure I can really see it as a first name though.

Sorry not a fan. Fontaine could be ok as a middle. I don’t like TayTay as a nn. Not my style.

Personally I don’t think you should use it, I speak french and it’s literally just the word for fountain…
Would you name your kid Fountain in english?
