Wdyt of Genevieve Acacia?

Thoughts welcome on the name [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]… dont hold back! Thank you!

I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] but not [name_f]Acacia[/name_f].

I really think this combo is lovely! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is a beautiful name!

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is a gorgeous name.

I personally find it to be a mouthful. I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] although I foresee spelling issues because it isn’t exactly the easiest to spell if you aren’t already familiar with the name. (Although I know this isn’t a naming factor for everyone)

I’m not a fan of [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]…as a name in general or as a middle for this combo. I think a shorter middle would flow better. But that is just my opinion.

I also love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] but am not super sold on [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]. I don’t hate it, by any means, but I’m not sold on the middle name.

Ditto! Same here.

Oooh, I like it. Very interesting combination.

Are you an Aussie because our acacia trees are known as wattle trees with pretty yellow flowers?

I am not mad on [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] though.

I am not too into V-heavy names ([name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]/[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] sound really terrible to me, personally) but I still think this combination works incredibly well. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is a little frilly and very [name_m]French[/name_m], and [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is more offbeat, very green, but somehow more grounded than [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and still kind of [name_m]French[/name_m] (maybe Creole more than straight-up [name_f]France[/name_f]). Overall, it feels like a sweet Southern belle name with a little mystery. I also really like the nickname [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].

Agreed. I have a friend with a [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nn [name_u]Nev[/name_u] and people do sometimes have trouble with the name. A simple middle would probably be better. I’m so so on [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]. If you love it, maybe save for another child.

What region are you from elo? I live near the quebec border and here I feel like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is as common as white bread, but I will have to put up with people pronouncing it the french way! Which I dont hate, I just find strange (other names dont have this same effect)

And while we’re at it… if you dont like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f], what nature or flower or plant name would you suggest instead?? Except [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. HATE [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] as an alternative. I find it to be the most sophisticated of the flower/nature names and since I know a professional woman in her 60s with it I know it ages really well too.

Oh but I see you have an [name_f]Iris[/name_f] already. So then maybe [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]? But that is v heavy with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].

Third choice would be [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

Sorry, just seeing this now. I’m in the northwest part of the US. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] isn’t unheard of here but it’s certainly not popular. I do like the name. Other nature-ish names… I know it’s gotten more popular but I do like [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. Or maybe [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] (not a fan in the first name spot but like it in the middle), [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Tulip[/name_f], [name_u]Green[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Fawn[/name_f], [name_u]Rain[/name_u], [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_u]Lake[/name_u], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Fern[/name_f] or [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].

I don’t like the name [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] but I love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and the names sound good together.

I don’t mind either name and the flow is nice but I feel like the combo is just missing something.
