WDYT of Georgia Marian

I posted about a week ago looking for a name to honor DH and my grandmothers- [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Miriam[/name]. We have decided that since we don’t [name]LOVE[/name] either name as a first name, we will only use one for this baby. We are loving the name [name]Georgia[/name] right now. I like classic, timeless names, and DH likes cutesy boyish names, so she will be called [name]Georgie[/name]. Anyway…we decided to honor Grandma [name]Miriam[/name] since [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would combine two place names which I don’t like. The dilemma now is that our last name starts with an M. So using [name]Miriam[/name] as a MN would turn it into Meer-e-uh which I don’t like either. We considered [name]Marie[/name], which I think sounds really pretty but it seems to be everyone’s middle name these days. We have pretty much settled on [name]Marian[/name] since it is a diminutive of [name]Miriam[/name]. I also have a great aunt [name]Marion[/name] who has been like another grandmother to me so we could honor both with this name.

What do you think about this name? Any other suggestions?

[name]Georgia[/name] [name]Marian[/name] – A very pretty choice and so meaningful for your family! I’ve always liked both names. Thumbs up!

I think it goes together really well. I honestly didnt think of 2 place names until you mentioned it. With family names, imho, anything goes.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Marian[/name]!

[name]Georgia[/name] has spunk and sass and [name]Marian[/name] has softness and femininity! A great combo mix!
