WDYT of Happy?

Recently a couple that I know named their little girl [name]Katrina[/name] [name]Happy[/name], and I was wondering what others thought of using [name]Happy[/name] as a middle name for a girl?

A few people I know love it because of the meaning, but is it considered too virtuous even in the middle spot?

I think it would be a poor choice for a first name, but it’s completely fine in the middle. I don’t think I’d pick it, but it’s cute.

I can’t help but think that she’ll probably end up going through a goth stage, though.

The only [name]Happy[/name] I ever knew was kinda goth! It wasn’t her given name, which was [name]Lynn[/name] or [name]Lee[/name]…something very plain, but [name]Happy[/name] was a nn from babyhood & she was never called anything but [name]Happy[/name] when I knew her!
I think of it was a nickname. I guess it’s an ok mn, but [name]Katrina[/name] [name]Joy[/name] flows better than [name]Katrina[/name] [name]Happy[/name] imo.

About any name/word could be used for a middle name. But [name]Happy[/name] for a first name… No way. :).
