It’s not bad, but I wish you would use the traditional spellings of the names and make it [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name] [name]Ileana[/name]. That looks so much prettier on paper to me.
Good luck!
I like it. I prefer the spelling [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name]. My daughter has a double first name, and I wish we would have done it with a hyphen—the reason being that it causes confusion at school and at the doctor, etc. People think she has a double middle name instead of a double first name. I think [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name] is lovely.
Thanks! I prefer [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name] for the spelling as well but hubby likes [name]Zoey[/name]-[name]Marie[/name]. We’ll work on that part. Lol. Might go with [name]Ileana[/name] as a spelling.
[name]Zoe[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] is so pretty. [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Ileana[/name]-[name]Marie[/name]? [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name]-[name]Ileana[/name]? I think hyphenated first names are more trouble than they’re worth.
I think it’s okay. I like the idea of two middle names more. I think [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] [name]Marie[/name] flows great and is really pretty.
I actually really like it. And I like the way it looks with the y.
Maybe I love it.
It is really great.
The problem with the two middle names is that hubby isn’t so keen on it. He wanted it simply as [name]Zoe[/name]/y [name]Marie[/name] (first and middle), and I find that to be SO plain. The poll and comments are really helping, though.
We’ve definitely decided on [name]Ileana[/name] instead of Illeana but we’re still having the [name]Zoe[/name], [name]Zoey[/name], [name]Zoie[/name], [name]Zoee[/name] debate. xD
I am personally not a fan of two middle names. I think [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name] or [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] would be best. I think [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name] is adorable and not plain at all. I would drop the [name]Ileana[/name].
I said Yes. I don’t super love it, but it could work…I personally wouldn’t use a hyphenated name where they both sound the same at the end.
Depends on the combination like [name]Sarah[/name]-[name]Jane[/name] or [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Ellen[/name] that’s a classic hyphenated name which I like. Their pretty and feel so southern!! Yet combinations that feel thrown together like [name]Sierra[/name]-[name]Jane[/name] or really modern [name]Kinley[/name]-[name]Rue[/name] I dislike. I also think hyphenated names with more than one middle name are just too much. [name]Zoe[/name] Illeana [name]Marie[/name] works. Hate [name]Zoey[/name] spelling wise.
Whether you use [name]Zoey[/name] [name]Marie[/name] or [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] - they are both cute. I think the [name]Zoey[/name] spelling works best on its own. The [name]Zoe[/name] spelling seems nicer in the hyphenate.
I like it. It sounds interesting.
I’ve only ever known one person with a double first name – [name]Mary[/name] [name]Ellen[/name], and I don’t actually know how she spelled it because it was always spelled differently everywhere I saw it (mailbox, mail, nametags, phonelist, etc.): [name]MaryEllen[/name], [name]Maryellen[/name], [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Ellen[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]. That will definitely happen, so make sure you’ll be okay with that.
That said, I actually really love [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name] (I also think the “y” spelling makes the double name awkward; it seems like an extra letter, which makes the double aspect more awkward). It’s traditional with the [name]Marie[/name] second half, but cool with the [name]Zoe[/name] first half. I really love it and would love to meet a [name]Zoe[/name]-[name]Marie[/name].
I like the hyphenated first name. Makes a name a bit more spunky!
Being a southerner- double names are the norm- but they are usually a classic followed by a family name. Lots of [name]Mary[/name] [name]Brennan[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Martin[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Frances[/name], etc. etc. lots of [name]Mary[/name] ______.
I voted no on the hyphenated, I’m not a fan of trendy doubles, but I love the names on their own. Definitely would go with the [name]Zoe[/name] spelling either way. It’s such a cute and spunky name! I think either [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] or [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] are great.
I agree with you that [name]Marie[/name] as a middle is overdone, but maybe it’s just because it sounds great! I would drop the [name]Marie[/name] but if hubby has to have it, it is still lovely.
[name]Don[/name]'y hyphen it. [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name] can be her first name even without the hyphen, though [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] with [name]Marie[/name] [name]Ileana[/name] as the middles works fine, [name]IMO[/name].
