[name]Just[/name] wondering what your thoughts were on [name]Isabel[/name]. I’m second guessing whether or not I should’ve added it to my list. I really do not like [name]Isabella[/name] and its popularity - so that’s probably what’s bringing me down. So…keep, or no?
I love it! [name]Isabelle[/name] is my favorite girls’ name, and the popularity really doesn’t bother me. [name]Isabel[/name] is nice but has always felt incomplete to me–I love the [name]Isabelle[/name] spelling! Either way, it’s a great name. If the popularity bothers you, then it might not be the name for you, though. What about [name]Isabella[/name] is it that you don’t like, but that you love about [name]Isabel[/name]? Is it only that [name]Isabella[/name] is too rabidly popular for you? Or is there something else involved? I’m just curious because the names are quite similar. 
I agree I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]…I used it for [name]Maya[/name]'s middle name…but since I wish I had used it for her first name…keep it for sure

I think it is popular, but I love it. It’s a family name for me. [name]LOVE[/name].
The popularity of [name]Isabella[/name] makes it a no-go for me. [name]Just[/name] so many little Isabellas, Isabelles, Isabels, and Bellas out there. [name]IMO[/name], the different ending isn’t enough to set her apart from [name]Isabella[/name] S., [name]Isabella[/name] P., etc…
Popularity aside, it’s a beautiful name, but if the popularity bothers you, I’d scratch it. Maybe explore some other names with -bel endings or use it as a middle?
