DH and I are having a hard time agreeing on middle names for the boy names we like. [name]Gabriel[/name] is one that he likes because it has both literary and biblical references. I think its okay, but I prefer [name]Jahan[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]. I could live with [name]Jahan[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] though, I do really like the name [name]Gabriel[/name], I just thought [name]Alexander[/name] flowed better.
Thoughts or other possible suggestions?
We don’t like names like [name]John[/name], [name]Robert[/name], [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Michael[/name], etc. Or too modern.
I know someone said that [name]Jahan[/name] didn’t go with my first son’s name, [name]Noah[/name], but I disagree, and think it works just fine in our family. DH’s name is persian, so it might actually be more expected.
The other option is [name]Julian[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]. DH is obsessed with [name]Julian[/name]. I do really like [name]Julian[/name], but I just like [name]Jahan[/name] better. I was going to name [name]Noah[/name] [name]Jahan[/name], but didn’t because my mom hated the name and gave me too many problems about it (she said kids would make fun of him).
