Wdyt of Khloe

Georgia[/name]]Now from what I’ve seen [name]Khloe[/name] is the african american spelling of “[name]Chloe[/name]” I love this name but, I don’t want people thinking I’m doing to it because I’m a fan of the Kardashians. Plus, A old friend of mine is(Who I don’t really talk to) having a baby in [name]August[/name] and she’s a spelling with a K. I’m out of a loop, I’m not sure what to do. Thoughts?

I’m not really sure what you mean by “the African American spelling”. The most famous bearer of the K spelling, as you mentioned, is [name]Khloe[/name] Kardashian who is Armenian, not African American. The K spelling is used by people of all races.

As for the name itself, I really don’t like it. It’s too “yoonek” and “creatyve”, and far too trendy. Why not name your daughter the classic, timeless [name]Chloe[/name]? It sounds the same, and it will save your daughter a lifetime full of “[name]Khloe[/name] with a K”.

Good luck!

What I was trying to say, What I’ve seen is a lot of African Americans spelling with Kh. I love the CH as well it’s not off the option list just yet. I just don’t want her ( as in the old friend) thinking im copying her by naming her [name]Chloe[/name] period. You know what I’m saying?

I think [name]Khloe[/name] is kewl.

[name]Don[/name]'t like it at all. [name]Chloe[/name] is much, much better.

I definitely think of the kadashians… much prefer chloe!

[name]Chloe[/name] is beautiful. [name]Khloe[/name] just looks trashy [name]IMO[/name].

I would definitely stick to [name]Chloe[/name]. My first thoughts upon seeing [name]Khloe[/name] in your post were “kreeatif” and “Kardashian”, neither of which are positive [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Chloe[/name] is bright, pretty and timeless, [name]Khloe[/name] … less so. Actually, I’ve always thought that [name]Khloe[/name] looks kind of strange written down.

I never really liked [name]Chloe[/name], but it’s definitely preferable to [name]Khloe[/name]. [name]Chloe[/name] at least is classic, but traditionally, besides the occasional parent who wanted a “yoonique” name, [name]Khloe[/name] was created by the Kardashians and has only risen in popularity because of her. Therefore, I don’t recommend using [name]Khloe[/name] because [name]Khloe[/name] Kardashian is the ONLY thing people will think about when they hear it. [name]Chloe[/name] - nobody thinks about the Kardashians with that spelling.

I prefer [name]Chloe[/name] by far

I just don’t like that spelling, at all. Honestly, though I tend to be a traditional spelling type of gal… [name]Chloe[/name] is MUCH nicer [name]IMO[/name]…

I like [name]Chloe[/name], but I almost always go fo the more classic spelling of names. I also think of Cs as softer & Ks as harder and harsher ( with a few exceptions like [name]Kira[/name] & [name]Kaya[/name] which I do like)

[name]Zooey[/name]

Not a fan of alternative spellings but this one doesn’t bother me as much. Probably because I am so used to seeing it thanks to its famous name sake.

[name]Chloe[/name] is much prettier. [name]Khloe[/name] is a Kardashian sibling and will just lead to spelling errors.

Also, if you don’t really talk to your friend and you’re in love with [name]Chloe[/name], I’d just name her that. All worries aside.

TBH I’m not a big fan of the name either way, but if I had to pick, I would pick [name]Khloe[/name]. I don’t know why but [name]Chloe[/name] has always seemed really whiny and disgusting to me. And now looking at it more closely, it’s a lot like the word cholera. Maybe you’d like [name]Claudia[/name]/[name]Klaudia[/name]?

[name]Love[/name] this name but hate the spelling. [name]Chloe[/name] on the other hand is gorgeous.
